You have full 3 1/2" exhaust?

So my car is going in for exhaust next week and I wanted 3" but buddy told me 3" wouldn't work too go over the axle,.... Any opinions?

So I'm almost done my monte build, not sure what to do for gears. My car has a 4spd and ls5 any advice? I will mostly just be cruising around with it but still want good torque but still be able too drive down the highway and not have her roaring too bad

So out column in my 79 today, notice it looks like it angles towards drivers side, can anyone look at their cars and tell me if your column is a perfect 90 degree out of your fire wall or of it angles slightly? Going too bother me so much lol my parts car is the same way but that has a factory dash in it mine too s after market so the gap on mine from column too dash isn't perfect

Thanks man, hey how did you figure out where your transmission hump and console bracket were supposed too go? My humo seems shaped too sit but looks like it needs just slight tweaking but the console does slightly rub on drivers side on the 4spd hump, and does the front just screw into the tunnel?

How did you figure out the proper positioning for the tunnel and bracket?

So I'm in the process of putting my interior in, few questions, I bought my carpet from opgi and it has no holes in it for seats and no whole for the gear shifter, do I just fit it then cut where needed? Also I am going from a bench too buckets and a console, the console just rubs a little on part of the 4spd hump also just doesn't seem too want too sit 100% any suggestions? Also the front looks like it screws directly too the tunnel but the back needs some sort of bracket made up I'm guessing?

No mines shorter, goes over the middle of that top cover with the 4 bolts on it, not a big deal it will do what it has too. We don't have an advanced auto parts in Ontario I think out partsource would be the equivalent, do you know what brand made that hose? Mine is from Edelmann

Did you guys find the new ones a little shorter then original? Finally found one with right connections just not exactly like original, instead of wrapping around the steering box it goes over the top

Yes I do actually, I will look, the one on my car sure seems too be perfect the ones I'm getting don't seem too fit due too the way the steel ends of the lines are bent

So anybody else have a lot of trouble thing too get the high pressure power steering hose? None of the parts places can get me one that fits properly. And the ones they are sending don't look anything like the original on either of my two 70 Montes. I have looked online and the ones I'm seeing for my car look like the ones the jobers are sending me but again they do not look like the originals Help would be appreciated lol

I'm just going too go through Leo at koniks klassiks, all he does is restore these 1st gens so I'm counting on him too get me good quality

I think I'm going too roll the dice and buy the new one for 325, hopefully I won't have too hack it apart too Much too make it all fit properly. My car isn't numbers marching so certain little details don't really bother Me. If it's a pos maybe i can sell it and but an original lol

Hey guys, just trying too run the pwr steering and alternator belt but not sure how they go, does anyone have a picture that could help me out? Been along time since this engine has been back together lol

I like the wood grain so that's dwfinately something I will need too tackle, I have 2 dashes broke in half with all hardware so I should be good for guagea etc. Only thing I'll be doing is getting one of those retro looking CD players, I just don't want too spend forever trying too fit things and having too hack apart a new dash
