Good afternoon, My father and I are restoring a #’s matching ‘71. The previous owner of the car cut up the floor shifter hump to allow for an aftermarket shifter. We have a replacement pan to be put it but here’s my question. Did the factory weld, rivet, or seam seal the 4spd pan in? Looking to duplicate factory. Thank you in advance for any advice.
