  1. So it shouldnt cause a prolem? I think it was suppose to be hooked to vacume anyway so it wasnt working any way. O nly other thing i was thinkin was to put a small filter on end of 3/8 hos so it would help vent tank. What you think?

  2. I was wondering what you guys have done with your fuel vapor canister that is mounted on radiator support. I only have one line that comes from fuel tank because I did away with lines to cylinders years ago. Any way to get rid of that canister?

  3. Has anyone here ever done there driveshaft correct. I was getting ready to paint mine with stainless steel paint so it will look correct natural metal. I can barely read my part# and see where stripes were. I can figure out color of stripes from build sheet but cant quite make out complete part#. I think it is 386740. 402/400 turbo car. anyone know what the part # is for sure?

  4. Ive been trying to figure out if I need to overlap or butt weld. Ive heard boyh ways. Then this weekend I heard about glueing them on. Ive got a buddy who just bought a 70 442 and been goin to shows and cruises with him. Its keepin me in the mood. we are going to super chevy here in couple weeks.

  5. I am currently doing my suspinsion. Ive decided to go with stock control arms, new aftermarket sway bars and thats about as far as ive got. should i do something with steering box? close ratio? what brand suspision (sway bar kits, shocks ect) should i go with? dont want to break bank but want something i will be able to tell a difference. Im thinking about boxing my trailing arms and getting a say bar or getting the hellwig kit which post just died on that product. does anyone have a close ratio steering box?

  6. I got all the stuff to do mine from a s10. I bought a low milage rearend so the parts are in good condition. I need to get this stuff installed. Thats the way its been with my car. buy a bunch of stuf and not getting around to installing.

  7. the fella i talked to sold those and then he had another vender that he said were better. 300.00 free shipping. but there both made in china or somewhere other than usa.. I could purchase those and it would save time id be rebuilding and paint my factory ones. My time worth alot right now. I just hope my mont dont mind some off shore parts steerin her around.

  8. I use wagner thermoquiet pads on everything. My buddy is the shop manager and i asked his opinion because my son was turnig 16 and the 00 monte we give him was always going thru rotors. I was buying cheapest rotors i could get. He said get better rotors and run wagner thermoquiet brakes. My sons getting ready to graduate highschool with no brake troubles so far. Im sold.

  9. Im doing some front end work to my 72. I was going to rebuild my control arms then i got to thinking, should i put that money towards aftermarket control arms? I was wondering if anyone notices any difference? I no im a tight butt and always lookin for a deal but i dont like chinese junk either. I found some made by APS RACING USA. They look just like cheaper ones i guess that are on ebay. Just wondering if these would be any good. I dont worship my car and have to have the best but i dont want something that is no better or that is gonna junk out. I use my car as daily driver/ocassionally racing my buddys mopar. What brands you guys using and what the price. i no ive seen some hotckins.thank you joe

  10. I was tinkering with my car and broke the plastic mount on the horn relay on my 72. I looked on ebay. Saw them with metal mount. Just wondering if they are correct? Mine was plastic. Also if i would buy a new completre wiring kit does it come with newer style components like this horn relay or do you still use factory components? Thank you! Joe

  11. I am bus mechanic and I use it all the time. School buses have so many fans and heater motors ect. I use the crap out of it. I know the owner of our local tractor implement bought one for their shop and they traded it back in because his guys werent using it. I love it. U can give power, ground and use it as test light ect. Ive had mine for almost 2 years.
