Thanks guy's! I'm just waiting for the gasket to come in the mail. I removed the aftermarket mirror and yes the mounting holes are there. I would guess that yes, Fisher pre drilled these holes to simplify the D33 remote option (paint reasons?). Again thanks guys!

I am going to install a remote mirror. I'm wondering where the placement of the bezel and toggle are on the door panel. Is there a diagram out there or has anyone done this? I don't have the panel off yet so I don't know if there is a knockout.

I'm thinking of a big block conversion. I have located a1976 454 4bolt complete. Would this be a good start for a build or should I look for an earlier motor. I would like 450 to 500 hp.

I removed the rear bumper this week and after polishing and though maybe I'll replace the lenses. But, the lights are not lighting up. The light bulbs are good. Is it a fuse for them?

Here is a thread that will help on the trans.
A partial VIN will be stamped in the case, just above the pan, on the driver side.

Hey Dan, I work with Gary Donato. When he told me how he placed and that he was not far from you all I was kicking myself. I was going, but Friday on the way home had some messages and the idiot lights came on in my impala. So I bailed and had my car looked at that sat morning. He said there are some beautiful car in the club!

I just replaced the turn signal cam. As leghome said, rent the lock plate removal tool. It will press the lock plate in and then carefully remove the clip. I used two very small regular screwdrivers to unseat the clip and remove it. Again be careful or the clip will pop off. Change the cam and put on the same way. very simple and took maybe 20 minutes.

I just replaced the rear coils and shocks two weeks ago on my 70. I used Moog springs and Monroe shocks. It has a stock look. I will post pictures if you need them.

Whats a fair price for a "soliid shifting" turbo 400? Claims its out of a 71 Monte SS and is there any way to prove other then there word?
