    I've been using a Millermatic 135 at work. If you use flux core and have a tip that is to large for the wire, you will get spatter. I've gotten decent results using flux core, but you do get some spatter.

    What would be the correct casting number for a 70 SS? I've looked on http://www.mortec.com/bbc.htm but there are a lot of different casting numbers that cover 1970. Would the castng numbers make a diference as long as it's a 70 block?
