  1. Sam you aren't running Cragars S/S are you?
  2. Hey Sam thanks man, what do you have on your car in the pic above? Is your wheel wells trimmed out?
  3. Hey fellow Monte lovers! Here is my dilemma... I am currently running 275/60/15 tires on the back with 8" Cragars on back. I have the maximum back space for Cragars and they are rubbing on the fender lip when I hit a bump. Cutting the fender lip or rolling them are NOT an option. The car is in way to good of shape to modify the body. So... my question is what do you recommend for a 7" Cragar for the rear (as far as backspacing for the deep dish look) and can I still use the 275/60 tires or do I need to go with 70 series. I really like the wife 60's but... gotta do what I gotta do. Hope I didn't confuse anybody... Thanks guys in advance for your input
  4. awesome that's what I was hoping it was. Thank you.
  5. Hey all Do you guys know what the factory color was on the 454 Big Blocks in the 1972 Monte Carlo, was it Orange, Chevrolet Blue, or something else?
  6. Hey all! My new kickdown cable does not return to it's original position when pulled out. Is it supposed to??? Anybody have a pic of how the kickdown cable rod should be hooked up inside the 350 Turbo Transmission. From the trans end of the kickdown cable (inside pan) I have the little jagged rod/wire attached to a teetering piece that pushes against a "piston/valve" there are no springs on here to return the cable.... should there be???
  7. Hey Guys, I was wondering what size tires you guys are running with no clearance issues. I am planning on running BF Goodrich Tires (Rear 275 R60-15) (Front 235 R60-15) with classic Cragar S/S wheels. I am planning on (15 x 8 on rear) and (15 x 7 up front). I'm not sure what to get for back spacing. The factory rally wheels back spacing measure 3 7/8" backspacing but it looks like Cragar only offers a 2.5", 4", or 4 1/4" back spacing. Do you guys have any idea which one would work without rubbing? The car does have Gabriel Air Shocks. I really like the old school fat back tire look. Thanks
