  1. does anyone know what size the upper bolt is that attaches the front dust shield to the spindle? my drivers side bolt is all galled up after removing it from the old spindle and i dont want to mess up the threads on my new spindle trying to put this bolt in. i can't seem to find this bolt for my car.

Also, what I was gonna do is use the old pads on the new rotors until the front end is aligned, but my old rotors have the groove in them which leaves the pad with a small protruding curve through the middle. Could I maybe grind down the protruded section and use the old pads until the car is aligned? Thanks
  4. I'm close to finishing my front end rebuild with all new parts, steering, suspension and brakes. Now I'm putting new rotors and pads on and the pads require a bed in process and I will also need the front end aligned too. My question is, should I do the bed in process first, and then go to the alignment shop? Bed in requires 10-20 60 mph to 10 mph stops. what have you guys done in this situation?
  5. I was wondering if grade 8 bolts with lock washers are strong enough to replace the rusty nuts and bolts that hold the front lower control arms to the frame. Also could I use grade 8 bolts to attach the steering knuckle to the spindle?
  6. Does anyone here have BMR front upper and lower A arms with Hotchkis 1" lowering springs? I have the Hotchkis TVS suspension package (not installed yet) and was wondering if the new springs will fit in BMR lower A arms, if there is any fitment or clearance issues. Thanks
  7. I also have a related question to this topic. I have a 72 MC with the extra vent lines from gas tank capped off. I do have the 1/4" return line still hooked up. Is there a vented gas cap avail. for the 72? Also how can i tell what kind of cap i have? there r no markings on it.
