  2. I know you'll must be getting tired of all my questions, but, the beast is almost done so please be patient. 72 350 4bbl 350th trans. there is a what I think is called a tcs solenoid on the manifold on the right side. It has 1, 2 wire plug and and 2 vac fittings one goes to the dist vac the other goes to the carb. There is 1 vac fitting on the other side where the wires plug in, WHERE DOES THAT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am at wits end. Thanks Again DAN
  3. Thanks for the info I went with the Pypes.
  4. Did my 72 350 auto come with side or top battery posts, and how can I tell if this stock 350 has 1.5 or 1.6 ratio rockers?
  5. I have a 72 Monte with a 350 4bbl and 350 tranny. It is all stock including the exhaust manifolds. I am looking for a COMPLETE duel exhaust system including head pipes that will bolt on without any bending, cutting or welding. Also what mufflers will give a nice deep tone but not too loud? Thanks again for your help Dan
  6. Problem solved guys!!!!! You are right, there is no electrical connection on the th350. In place of this sensor/switch there should be a plug as shown in the pic above. This port is used for troubleshooting to check pressure in the trans. At some time this trans was serviced and the sensor/switch left in. OK. I still have a black wire comming out of the wire bundle that goes to the starter it is just above where the wires attach to the bracket at the rear of the block. Where does it go? In the factory assembly manual UPC 12H sheet 19 it shows what appears to be this wire going to the TCS on the M38 th350. I'm confused!!!!!!! Dan
  7. sorry, forgot to mention its a th350 1972
  8. how can I tell if a trans is orig or not. is the vin on the trans? where? thx dan
  9. so what is this device with three connections just foward of the dip stuck and below the cooling lines? (it really is there)
  10. Do you need more info on this? Pls let me know
  11. Its a 72, I assume this is the tcs switch, its located on the trans right below where the cooling lines attach.
  12. the tcs switch on my th350 located on the passenger side has three lugs one flat and two L shaped. the plug that appears to go to it is black with one connector. Its been 3 years since I took it apart and don't remember what goes where. PLS HELP!!! Dan
  13. I just got my trans back from rebuild, I noticed that only the inner input shaft will turn so before I install I need to know if this is normal???? Thanks again for your knowledge and help!
