  1. Congratulations Greg. Thank you for your support and continue to enjoy the info and friendships here. If you haven’t been to an Eastern, Western or any Mini Meets, plan to attend one of the Club events. It’s really nice to talk face to face and meet the members you talk to on the Forums.

  2. I’m heading in to NYC to march with my brothers and sisters from the Suffolk County Firefighters Emerald Society. We have members from the 109 Fire Departments in Suffolk County (Long Island) marching in the largest and oldest parade in the World. Quite an honor to participate in it. We step off at 130pm. More than 2 million people attend along the parade route and over 150K participate in it. It is televised worldwide too. This is the 262nd year of the Parade, which started in 1762. Nice comfortable weather with no rain in the forecast. Please be wise, and be safe !!! Wishing everyone a Happy St Patrick’s Day and weekend !!!

  3. No shortage of things to do there. Plenty of food choices swap meet live music and  all types of vendors too. Unfortunately not enough time to see it all. But we try every year. Come join us and check it out. It’s a lot more than a car show !!!

  5. Sorry to hear this Steve. I’m glad you have been keeping up on your testing and caught it very early. That is the key to detecting cancer. More choices of treatment for the best outcome possible for you.  A very simple blood test (1 extra vial) which can be done when you go for your yearly annual physical exam and bloodwork can catch it. Great news that your case is 100 percent curable too. Thank you for sharing this Steve, wishing you a very speedy recovery.

Gentlemen, I’m going to use this as a Public Service Announcement. If you don’t go to a doctor, please go see one for a routine ANNUAL physical exam and ask for a PSA test. It’s 1 extra vial of blood when they are doing your lab (blood) work. Early detection is key. We all do preventive maintainance on our Monte’s to keep them running and performing in top condition. There is no reason not to do it for yourself too. The life you save may be your own !!!
