  1. Nice day out for a ride, took the pictures to see the difference. Ordered the rear springs today, should be here Wed. I went with the CC501's. once she settles in then I will measure and get the fronts...

  5. oh I forgot to add. I am at work and don't have my vuild sheet handy, but it is either a GW% or GW8 rear end code on the build sheet.
  6. Ok I know it has been talked about I just can't seem to find it. towards the end of the winter I am considering a posi change over for my 72. My car is an original 12 bolt, 2.73 open( and I know for sure it is open). I am not looking to go racing just like when I do sometimes get the heavy foot I like both tires to give me smoke. So I know there was a difference in the posi and non-posi cars. I want to keep the original numbers because at this point she seems to be a numbers car even though the color is not original. I also am thinking upping to the 3.31's or 3.55's. so besides the posi unit and the new gears. I am looking for what it is I need to make the parts work in my open unit 12 bolt, or just point me to the thread that explains. Thanks again everyone...
  7. I was driving mine over the weekend and figured out the one thing I am not use to anymore....3 spd auto's. Anyway, was searching on here and one of the places listed in the parts section. Well they recommend the 200r4. I figured down the road I would do this swap to the 4spd auto but, The 200r4 is losted as the same length as the TH350 and PG. And there are a few places that say they can be built to handle just about any HP rating. Would this be a good thought the 200r4 was thinking the 355 or 373's in the rear then. Also is there a detent to make the col shifter work with the 4spd shifting? The thought of this is new for me and was just looking to the future with her and I want her to be a driver and thought the 4spd would be a cool change. Thanks guys in advance. Rick
