I have the gauge I was wondering how you check the terminals at the actual voltage regulator. The gauge always shows a slight discharge witch is what I am getting at the battery when i check with a voltage meter.

Thanks I have checked and the battery, and the alternator check out. I have cleaned all connections. I replaced the voltage regulator, but not sure how you check them. Im about to buy a entire engine wiring Harness UGH

I have a 70 454 and I can not figure out whats wrong with my wiring. I can not get a charge to the battery I replace battery Alternator external voltage regulator with the car running I only have 12.00 volts at battery with car off 12.51 at battery Any Ideas??

Does anyone have a picture of what the rear AC bracket looks like on a 454. I'm not sure if I have the correct parts?
