  1. Because the high beam filiment is still intact. I had to replace one of mine when I first got my Monte. Got tired of riding around with high beams on. Try switching your bulbs from one side to the other; Or did you try that already?
  2. The low beam part of the headlight could be blown. The bulbs has dual filiments for high amd low beam.

  5. Thanks for the response Mike. They're Scorpion brand. Every where I look they run like $250. They are listed as new.
  6. 1.5 ratio and 3/8 studs. Are these good for stock sbc Montes? Are these any good? Are they worth $100? Thanks.... Rodney

  8. Andy just put this up in another thread Link to leveler system
  9. I paid $250 plus shipping from Florida. I could've gotten some for less the overall total but I think these wheels look better on the first gen and they kind of got that classic styling that you can run on the Montes.
  10. No that's for only one. The other ones are decent.
  11. Thanks Tony!!! I have to get one rechromed, it's going to cost close to $200 but I like the style of the wheels and they are discontinued
  12. Went to the shop and test fitted my wheels, plus I was missing the Monte anyway: HERE IS THE 15X8 RALLY WHEEL WITH 255/60/15 BFG HERE IS THE AFTERMARKET TWENTY INCH
  13. Thanks everyone for the compliments. So far I've got about 20 hours into this trim so it's really something to do to kill a little time. I need a couple of pieces one that came up missing when I had given the pieces to this guy to polish for me. He was going to charge me $250 and had the stuff for 3 months and never started on them. The one piece is one that goes on the fender by the marker light it has a small hole in it which became more obvious during the sanding. As a matter of fact both pieces goes on the fender the other piece is just a straight piece that goes on the fender with just clips I think because there aren't any bolt holes in it. HERE IS THE ONE PIECE THAT'S MISSING BUT THE OPPOSITE SIDE: HERE IS THE PIECE WITH THE HOLE:
  14. Did steps 4 and 5 with the 400 then 600 grit today. Did a quick polish on one of the pieces just to see how it would look. Here are a few pics: GONNA KEEP WORKING AT IT
  15. Yeah I definetly felt the pain all over this morning!!
  16. The trim is not perfect and have some very deep pits in some spots but I have to make them work for now until I get back on my feet and find some employment.
  17. Been out in the garage since the first post. Got to step three with the 220 grit. Boy are my fingers locking up. Here are some more pics:
  18. Yeah Sam I know. I'll just keep them waxed often like every time I detail the Monte once it's done, or I'll probably have my cousin clear them when he paints it.
  19. The 150 and 220 is gonna be dry and the rest will be wet. I'm gonna start with the 150 to get the bad imperfections out.
  20. Hey all I thought I would give a try at polishing my lower trim pieces. I started with the drain opener to remove the anodization and then I am going to start a sanding process starting with 150 grit then 220 then 400 followed by 600. Here are a few pics: These are a few of the pieces that are stripped This is one piece that I started the sanding process on More pics to follow as I proceed
  21. To be honest Mike, I do not know. But I was told that it had to be like 3 inches shorter. I don't want cut mines just in case I might need to go back to stock.
