  1. Man, you go away for a while and look what happens... My deepest condolences to George's family and friends Pieter
  2. Aaron, Why not just buy 1 can, and have your paint shop match the colour? BTW, I checked with Ecklers, 1 can of rally wheel paint costs 6.95$ US. Not too bad. I've paid 15$ for a can of "Cast Blast" cast iron coloured paint. The price tripled for it overnight. Looks pretty sharp on pices of the car that weren't supposed to be painted. Pieter
  3. I know that Ecklers (Corvette parts seller) sells spray cans of the colour. Primer should be used, gives the paint a good surface the adhere on ( as well, rims won't rust with the first chip. Pieter
  4. I use a Performer RPM on my 454. However, I also use a dropped base air cleaner, so clearance is no problem. Pieter
  5. Here is what I did. The headers that I have are Hooker comp for A-bodies. They fit like a charm, and only place they close is the proportionning valve. Jacked the car up un did one mount at a time and used an engine lift to tilt the motor sideways. Went from underneath the car. There was no way to go from the top for me. Passenger side has to go in from underneath, especially if you have A/C. Only thing that I did was reduce the 3" collector to 2 1/2". Pieter
