What is everyone running for internally regulated alternator that is bigger than 60 amps? I'm upgrading to internal regulated alternator and wondering what size to go with. The only big draw I have planned is a decent stereo system.... Has anyone used the 100 amp one offered by OPGI? Or is anyone running an 80-85 amp one?

Thanks for the input...looks like im going to keep all the AC stuff then and just put the engine bay delete cover on it!

Has anyone removed complete ac system, including inside controls etc and gone with non ac setup? I realize firewall etc is different. just wondering if anyone here has done this and what all was done with the heater core etc. I do plan on buying firewall ac delete kit/cover too. Can i still use the non ac underdash assembly and relocate heater core to fit the ac firewall?

Evening all! Can anyone post a pic of where the TH400 kickdown wing runs through the firewall on a 72 that originally had one? I literally am reassembling the car with all the parts out of rubbermaid totes and did not see it before it was removed. I have a round hole below where the wiper motor is and around the same area as where the throttle cable goes. I cant seem to find any info in my 1972 Chevrolet Service Manual. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance

What is the correct "shade" of the interior trim pieces etc. Would it be a satin black or more of a matte black? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello! Been a long time since I've been on here, and was wondering if anyone knows of the under hood AC delete kits/cover made in metal or am I limited to plastic or fiberglass?

Someone needs to keep their car together! We need at least one for reference after we have all of the left over piece and need to figure out where they go!

Anyone running a TH350 behind their big blocks?
-
which goes top or bottom, big line or small line?
-
Yes the fuel lines on the chassis. I agree, a proper pain with the body on. Pulling body today, but interested in where the 2 fuel lines come out cy the engine bay.

Does anyone have a pic of a big block frame with the fuel lines installed? Putting the W code back together and would like to see the fuel lines, more importantly how they're routed. My 72 Shop manual doesn't have the greatest pics. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!

Hello! TH400 used in our Montes....Can I assume long tail? My car didn't come with one and I cant remember what the length of the TH350 was in my old parts car. Any help would be appreciated.

I want to jack up the rear of the car aprox 2-3 inches. Are the rear coil spacers that fit between coil and rear end any good ? Has anyone used them , or how did you get the car to sit higher in the rear. I'm going for a 70's style jacked up in the rear stance. Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know where to get the Custom wide belt mouldings? Or does anyone have any to sell?
-
Great job... it looks amazing. The front end looks even longer now!!!Nice paint too!

I went to NAPA and picked up new batter cables.Does any one know or have a pic of the end that goes to the starter? The positive end basically looks like an eyelet. In my previous experiences with GM stuff, the end that connects to the starter is almost 'molded' with a tang on it to fit only one way. The joys of 'piecing' a car together! Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same thing happen to my 302 in my Maverick. The lifter stuck in the lifter bore.I had to order a new cam and lifter kit.A very expensive oops!Make sure to get another bottle of assembly lube.I used a whole bottle on my lifters alone.Almost 10,000 miles now and no grief! Just my 2 cents,as I had the same thing happen.
