  15. Has anyone installed new bushings on these rollers? Or should i just get new hinges?
  16. I'm guessing more for a somewhat stock appearance as I'm going restomod leaning heavily toward stock.I'm not building to car for road raving or anything. Truth be told to me that's the charm of these old cars is how they handle..thanks very much for the input and help up to date!
  17. So the stock one isn't attached to the diff at all? It is only connected to the lower control arms?
  18. Hello!I'm looking for a pic if the rear sway bar mounted on the car.. need the pic from the rear of the car please. Thanks in advance!
  19. Hope this helps... on my 70 parts car, both outer front mounts were bolts, the rest were studs...make sure that the spacing on your seat tracks are roughly 15 inches give or take front to back...I know other gm cars had a shorter distance roughly 12 inches....My 72 Custom has a different stud/ bolt hole arrangement than the 70. I'm not too sure about the 71's...What i did on my first 72 which was a bench car, used the original outer mounts and drilled where it should sit and bolted right through into nuts with washers....I didnt get any pics of that though..... Anyone else that can chime in to help?
  20. i will post some pics from my 70 body which had factory buckets tomorrow for you.
  21. Interesting find last night as I was setting the non power bucket seat in my 72....According to the build sheet (for whats left of it) it said power drivers bucket seat...and the parts I go was a non complete power bucket seat. So I was just going too install my NON power bucket seat in its place....but as it turns out the mount is complete different on the floor between the two. The power seat mount is roughly 3 inches shorter front to back distance between the mounting points.... easily enough I was able to do some work and mount the non power in its place... Just struck me as a little odd that's all.
  22. Thanks everyone... I'll post some more pics later this week. So slow going back together trying to find everything and how and where it goes!
  23. Who has dual horns? If so where are they mounted? I'm asking as I have seen them on the hood latch assembly and also on the read support itself up top...
  24. Would I need to have someone stand on the bumper while I'm torquing the lower bolts to add more weight to help? No trim on wheel well opening and bolts loose I'm about 29 1/2 to the floor....maybe replace the coil springs with different ones?
