I agree that if done right (and in my opinion I think the 22 or 24" rims are WAY over the top,but to each his own). I think a black vinyl roof (as I'm going to need a miracle to make my roof look good as it is in BAD shape.). Otherwise a 'stock' ish looking Monte is all I will do. Possibly black Chevelle stripes?

Just curious as I haven't seen any, but, has anybody painted a first gen Monte purple? I'm still undecided on what color to go with. A plum crazy Monte might compliment my Grabber Yellow Maverick Grabber. If so, can someone direct me to a pic of it? thanks! Kris

today.....I started getting ready to swap the frames out.As usual I'm past the point of no return and find myself regularly saying 'what am I doing?' -
I converted mine with no issues. I waited and found everything I needed on EBAY. you might be waiting a while to find the 'exact'car you want. This is why I am MAKING the car I want. It will be worth it in the end....my two cents worth.

Anyone know where a person can get FULL quarters for the Montes? There is tons of Chevelle stuff and stuff for the 2nd and 3rd gen Montes but not the first.....

Hello everyone! Can anybody tell me if a 454 will fit in front of a turbo 350? I realize a turbo 400 is probably the way to go, but will it work? What mods do I need to do if it will? Can you change bellhousings like you can on a C4 ford? I'm just doing some research.
