I am restoring my dads 1993 truck I have already primed it and filled most of the dents with bondo. I have wet sanded It with 2000 grit It's smooth but Is that the right grit for painting. Also we will be using duplicolors laquer paint ( was on gearzs ).

wiring I have alot of questions how do you remove wiring. What do all the colors mean? has any one used painless wiring is that easyer to work with... why dose my grand dad hate auto wiring/

I found one for 189.99 its a dual welder mig and tig I want to get it. I bought a 7 inch polisher from drill master has any one used it.

I like that welder and I like the price even more has any one used a 110 amp welder like that? How well dose it work? I have read the reveiws some said they used it only 4 times and It died. Are there any tips I need know before welding?

I like the stud welder Theres a harbor freight near hear so I will look for that. dose any one know any thing about welders I have not used one ansd wuld like to learn how to us one I know harbor freight has them Whats the cheapest they sell for and what kind to buy.

I wanted to see if theres another way to pull out dents I have been using a dent puller with screws and after pulling the dent out covering the hole with bondo. I have used a body hamer but I cant get to most of them which are higher up. I have used suction dent pullers that you squezz and pull... there not worth messing with.

Okay I will try it It sounds neat I will ask my grand dad about it He's probably tryed it.

got a tach cloth for 3 dollars I thought it would ge smaller its 1.ft x 1 yd. I saw that degreaser its neat I will have to get some.

so its just degreaser well where do you get the tach cloths?

I dont know of any other than opgis maybe you could find a junk yard that had one.

how much would it cost toatal to do a frame off restoration, engine rebuild and paint job. I may not need to but I just wanted to ask.

wow thank you man theres some nice cars on there and theres so many tires and tire sizes. I like the 15 x 8 inch rims with the 5" inch back space.

the G78 were popular tires but now there rare and arent made any more what size rim and tire are best for the streat. opgi have the origonal rims but what size rim and what kind of tire. I like good wrenches tires and the way they look on the origonal rims but what fills up the space and has that mean stance.

yeah I see what your saying it makes sense I have read a book on painting but most of the stuff I alredy knew. I saw this stuff on gearz he panel and sprayed some stuff on it and wiped it down with a tach cloth I didnt realy see what it was. I saw the same thing again and they said it removed finger prints and the rag removed dirt and things you cant tell was there what was that stuff? they both did that before painting and it was really neat has any one used some thing similar and where do tou get it?

well my dads truck was made in 1993 and right now is running with open headers.would that hurt any thing to put a little 105 just to clean it up. we will be geting new exhaust but right now we have no money to spare.

Well from what I ve heard and seen E3 spark plugs are well known by race teams if you watch gearz there always talking about E3 but I dont know if there the best. the only reason I even talk about 105 or 110 is my dad was going to get some to clean out his fuel injectors and my neighbor mixes it in his car. And Iam not talking about runing race fuel in my car all the time maybe a few times to clean up my carborator and that sorta stuff.

What type of bondo should I use Or should I not even use bondo and go for welding a new piece of metal in? I am not using bondo right now but there are so many kinds and I thought I would ask.

has any one tryed E3 diamond spark plugs they have a diamond head and makes biger sparks and horse power while burning gas better. Would that be affected by 93 mixed with a couple gallons of 110. I wouldnt think it would hurt a thing but I thought I should ask all of you.

Has any one tryed those E3 spark plugs I heard that they add horse power and torque while burning the fuel better. They have a big spark wich equals better fuel use and horse power. It realy surprised me when they did a dyno test on this 383 and it had a big change in torque.
