  1. I am looking to replace my rear control arms with a boxed set. Some catalog list them as control arms some list them as trailing arms, are they the same? The pictures look the same but I thought I would ask before I place order. Thanks in advance.
  2. I'm looking to replace the lower control arm bolts also. I was told these are grade 10, is that correct? Any ideas where to find them? Thanks in advance.
  3. Thanks, I think I will save the DNA and take them to a shop. Glad to hear mine are not the only ones with tack welds.
  4. Just wondering if there are any tricks to removing and replacing lower control arm bushings? The front one is round and the rear is oval. Do I need to remove the welds or is there a metal sleeve in there that I am not seeing?
  5. I replaced the ball joints 10yrs ago and it has just been sitting in the garage for the past 9 yrs. Is there a way to check them or should I replace them anyhow?
  6. Hey all, I will be replacing my front springs and was wondering what else could be done while i have it apart? A ARM bushings, shocks, clean and paint arms? Are the bushings round or oval? I have read about the dreaded snowball effect, just trying to plan on doing as much as possible while it is apart. Many thanks in advance.
  7. My wipers would not shut off unless I pulled the fuse, had to push fuse back in to turn on. Try that while driving. Finally replaced motor and all is good now. As for washer fluid, crack in reservoir keeps draining fluid in between uses.
