  1. That new crap they sell for the seat foam is a real joke.It is nothing like the bottom is suppose to be.The seat back on the frt bench are fine but that is where it ends. When yours is rotted and all you have is this junk hard to deal with.Looks like the vendors could get the correct stuff from China.or don't sell it to you.Had to vent this after wrestling with back cushion first.I guess you need to take it to an upholstery shop and let them do it but I like to do it yourself if I can. Will attack the frt seat today. Thanks for hearing my rant.Just ask if anyone has bought this stuff Thanks

  2. Do you have to install the piece of chrome on the bottom of frt fender before you put fender on.And to make sure it lines up with door you have to slip it a little and try to tighten it.Is that the way you do it.Thanks

  3. My new repop trim is a little longer that the org.as it hits the body mldgs so I"ll tackle that next but just laying it up it touches both mldgs on 1/4 panel.Overseas junk and the door trim was warpped and twisted but I think it will go on ok

  4. Yes but mine has 1 plug holder instead of the 3 wire one.But that is the relay on the right that I'm trying to figure out.My just leave it disconnected since I went with a TPI unit on mine. Thanks I see my PM flashing not good with computer no kids

  5. On my 71 it has factory air and there are 2 relays under dash pad above radio on a brace ,one relay has a orange wire with a pigtail on it where does that wire go.That is the only wire I can't remember where it goes. The other relay goes out the firewall and the one with the wire I'm looking for goes out to except that orange wire. Thanks for help that will finish up my dash wiring and I can put the pad back on.The wiring diagram I have only shows 1 relay but it is for a Chevelle that I bought from Ausley's and doesn't show 2 relays Thanks Again

  6. These guards stay off the bumper about 1/4 inch just touch at the tip of the guards not in the middle.Have the org bumper and it lays perfect.guess I'll send it to another plater next week tired of waiting on an answer from vendor

  7. Waiting to hear from the supplier to what to do with this rear bumper.Had it past the return date. But checked it when i got it for dings and stuff but didn't think to check guard fit.Well maybe my error but sometimes you don't get to things fast enough to install so time get by

  8. The bumper I got the whole rear guard sits up a 1/4" from the bumper. The tip and bottom of guard is the only thing that touch.May have to send org bumper to somebody else to replate. The shop that did the frt said they could not get it smooth enough to plate where they tried to fix rusted hole below the bumper bolt on pass side

  9. Looks like the header mfg would give a little more room at the plugs because they have a ton of room in these cars. The bend at the plugs need to be a little longer to get boot on and a socket.look easy on the bench but not in car with a/c and all the other junk

  10. I have one on the guns and I use only one gun for each like 1 for primer,1 for color and 1 for clear.Never mix them up.Just something I'm missing and hope to find it soon to finish this one only to start on the 35 Chevy I bought last year.

  11. I seen that about deodorant on TV one day in the Corvette place in KY that they did a test spray sample before you entered the paint area for fisheye. But I had this trouble before it got cold and have not turned heater on before I sprayed the last time.I'm going to try to hang the hood vertical and see if spraying it flat is my problem. As I don't see fisheye till I really come back in shop after 30 minutes or so after clear coats. But I will wipe down and sand it again and go at it for the 4th time. Thanks Also going to change the air hose again

  12. Had the same problem with fish eye again on hood and trunk 3rd time spraying them.Stopped by new paint dealer yesterday and told him my problem and he asked if I had a heater in shop powered by K1 or diesel fuel I told him diesel is in my cigar heater and he said I was getting the fish eye from the vapors off it even if it is not running. Is that true or what Thanks about to drive me crazy

  13. Mine is suppose to be back from the platers this month along with frt bumper.Had a same ding in grill they will fix.It is a place called Southern Bumper close to Atl Airport.Hope that they turn out.Need to call them as I took them on Oct 9th.Had the little pieces on straps redone also.Grill is $350 to replate.Their # is 404-761-5477
