The kickdown cable was disconnected when I bought the car, so I'm wondering where it needs to go (now that I've figured out what it is...) Rock Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 Should of had a bracket that was bolted to the manifold that held the kickdown cable. looks like this. It is held on by the last 2 bolts on the drivers side(nearest the firewall) Then it connects to the carb linkage. should be a post it slides over on the Edelbrock.
