Guest Posted March 10, 2004 Share Posted March 10, 2004 Absolutely do not run synthetic oil in a new engine. The rings will not seat in properly. I had a problem with my BB blowing oil out the seals and dipstick tube whenever I got on it. I added a crankcase vent with a drain-back line on it. Problem solved.
