Guest Posted July 25, 2004 Share Posted July 25, 2004 Is there a different torq ue converter for a 350 turbo for a big block and small block? I have replaced my 350 engine with a 454. My goal is to install a 700r4 this winter, but for now I would like to use the 350 turbo behind the big block so I can at least make a couple of cruise ins before winter. The 350 turbo needs rebuilt along with a new torque converter. I plan on eventually rebuilding the 350 turbo to use it behind the 350 small block that I removed from the Monte for a future project. So--- is the torque converter the same that I will need for the big block versus small block application? I just don't want to spend 200 bucks for a converter behind the big block just to be able to make a couple of cruise ins.
