Guest
A while ago I had a 1973 454 installed in place of the 350 engine and the th350 tranny was left in place. Now the kickdown cable doesn't reach the carb...? I have an Edelbrock 750 on a flat (original?) intake manifold. Would I have to get a new kickdown cable for the 454? or is there an extension that would work with the old cable? I don't have the time to replace the cable (never done it before either) so I'm looking for the easy way out...I want to feel the monster kicking when I step on it . thanks for any help Dave
Guest
Dave, check out Summit racing part no. BMM-30287. This is an adjustable cable to fit most any application. They have many more items for kickdown use. Search on 'kickdown cable' Hope this helps. Bob
