Blue502
I have my heads off and can't do any measuring. If anyone with a BBC has a minute, can you make some measurements and see if they have 5.5" clearance around the heads.I'm thinking #8 could be a problem for these headers. Thanks in advance. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Big-Block-Chevy-...=item256a295340
680HPStroker
#8 is an issue with any big tube header even with a firewall blank off plate and steering shaft on the drivers side will most likely be an issue as you usually have to dimple on of the primary tubes with conventional 2", or bigger headers(referring to Hooker). Blue502
Ya.#8 looks like a problem.I think for the cost it would be worth it to mod to fit.I would add some braces to help support the turbos. You could buy a pair of shorties and just use the right side.I would run a crossover pipe under the motor over to the left side for a big single.
