    What year was the Nova overflow tank that tucked in beside the Battery? Looks hidden and kind of stock. I know I saw a post but can't find it now. I think it was 75? Thanks

    Mine shows the light group on the build sheet but had the blue clip. So, was it installed both at the factory and the dealership? When I was 17 (1969) I worked at a GM dealership where all new cars went through pre delivery where they were cleaned up and minor add-ons done.

    Are there blanks available that you can fill in and then print? I wouldn't mind making a copy of mine. Has anyone ever made a certified copy signed by a Notary?

    Long shot, if the car has been in storage for awhile check to see if exhaust is clear. Mice love to build nests there.

    The only tanks I have seen on the Montes is the one with 2 piece end,(welded) I have seen the other smooth end ones on Cadillac

    Maybe that flat part is the fix? I was just thinking about that problem last night wondering if I could create a light weight damper that would roll up slip down the filler tube and then open up. I know your mind is supposed to do it's best work while you're sleeping, not so much in this case. Can I get a dancing banana?

    One thing to watch for is the range, i replaced my original because it would stick around 3000 ram. Anyway when it came it was ls6 tach with higher redline. Any way original now repaired and will be reinstalled next time dash is off

    If the modulater valve on the trans is leaking it will cause a off white smoke.

    I have heard in Saskatchewan that the average time city dwellers last in the country is 5 years, my wife and I made it 18. Not sure if the US is the same. Started with bare land, house, shop and stopped counting trees at 10,000. Anyways back in town now, happy wife, happy life but still miss the open space.

    When I replaced the heater/ac blower motor the body Vin was easy to read.
