OPGI hu, I bought mine from there and they only had the cheap ones that were chrome only, which I hate and the reason I'm asking. I'll check them out again, tbanks
Well I'm going to look at them this weekend hopefully, well see how they are measurement wise. Does anyone have the stock height measurements on a stock bucket?
Since stock GM buckets are way to expensive rebuilt or stock I decided to go with a different bucket. I found a set of 90 mustang GT buckets in black leather in great shape with power lumbar support and reclining. The price is cheap but one thing I noticed is the seat sits pretty low even with the track bolted on. I would How much of a issue it would be to adapt these to my monte height wise without making it look odd? Picture below of what they look like
I need a new set of outer door seals that seal to the glass for my front doors and rear quarter glass. I'm having a hard time finding it with rubber and the chrome bead on it like factory. Any good places to find this?
I just received my new EFI fuel tank from tanksinc.com
http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/page/p...prod/prd380.htm
It comes sumped and powder coated, with level sender, with 255lb walbro pump and everything else needed to install. Should be a good start to getting her back up and running
Thanks for the info but I was looking more along the lines of dimensions and has anyone tried this in a A-body car I guess. Checked out a lot on line but no montes from what Ive seen, and hardly even a chevelle
Looks like I might be hanging onto the car after all and doing my swap I wanted. Looking to do a LS motor with a 6l80e (4l80e if I have to) but need to find out if I'm going to run into tunnel issue's with clearance. Or is there someplace that would have the complete dimensions of both these?
Not as of right now. Working on saving up for the complete gas tank/pump setup for the car right now and still paying of the bills from our baby my wife had a few months ago, think that the hospital bills came out to $3200. That's pretty much my motor right there! Figured I'd get everything done around the motor/trans ready so when I do order it it's a drop in and go. I'll keep this post updated though
I'm going to ask them when I call up today to order the tank. Only question I have now is which tank is for my application, there's three different variation of the same one.
-EEC with 3 vent's
-without EEC and 2 vent's
-without EEC
Thanks. I'm trying to get the car it's self ready for the change over before I actually buy the Engine/trans combo it's self. Fuel, suspention, new wheels all around, run all the necessary wiring, etc.
I'm running the Hotchkis BB springs right now. I do like there stuff. Haven't found any other solutions so looks like I'm ordering them. Only thing I was worried about was the LS2 I'm thinking of doing, is lighter then a stock 350 SB. How is yours driving around? Ride quality and handling good? Does the stance sit ok still with the lighter motor?
