I prefer Napa brand parts. If the brakes have never been done I would go ahead and grab calipers and then you don't have to worry about the front brakes for a long time. I would also check the rubber brake lines and the wheel bearings.
Scott I had rubbing issues with the 15x8 with 4" backspacing ralleys on the rear after adding disc brakes to the rear. The new ones are 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing and no rubbing issues yet. The extra backspacing moved them in a little.
I had the exact same problem with my Wheel Vintiques Ralleys till I had them balanced on the car. They are not a hub centric wheel and unless you balance them on a machine that uses the lugs as the centering point they will not balance right. I fought the same issue you are a few years ago. After I had them done on the car 99% of the vibration was gone. They are going bye bye as soon as I get the new wheels out of the box and on the car
Put a new battery in it last Friday and it started right up. Going to be putting the new wheels on it this Friday after I get it registered up here in AR in the morning
Or Matco guy has them on his truck and he said guys love them. I have not gotten one yet, but it is something I want too. Randy my Trucks are longer than your Buses
The second terminal is for a Tachometer signal. All you need is one going to the BAT or + terminal (which is the one on the right looking at the 2 connectors) going to the Ing terminal in the fuse box and it will run.
I have some 3/4" drive sockets from Harbor Freight and beat the heck out of them with my 1200 ft/lb Matco (IR) impact and they are holding up to daily use on trucks. I also have their 20 ton air powered bottle jack that I use just about everyday for lifting tractor and trailers with
I have 15x8 with 4" backspacing and would suggest the 4.5" backspacing. Mine fit great before I went with disc brakes on the rear, now I get rubbing on one side with 245x60x15's New wheels are being ordered next week
Guys I just checked out his site and I hate to say it but he is selling Wheel Vintiques wheels and he is higher than Summit on them. He lists a 15x8 30 Series for $95 and Summit has the same part number for $77.95... Not sure what his Combo packs cost..
Before I went to the Mallory for my Fuel injection kit I was running the Petronix 1 kit and had no problems. Now the Accel wire I put on the engine when I first got the car and tried to take off 3 months later and had most of the spark plugs ends fall off are another story. I would stay away from Accel stuff. MSD if you want performance....
