  1. I prefer Napa brand parts. If the brakes have never been done I would go ahead and grab calipers and then you don't have to worry about the front brakes for a long time. I would also check the rubber brake lines and the wheel bearings.
  2. Cool find!
  3. Scott I had rubbing issues with the 15x8 with 4" backspacing ralleys on the rear after adding disc brakes to the rear. The new ones are 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing and no rubbing issues yet. The extra backspacing moved them in a little.
  4. Old ones on the new rims (245x60x15)
  5. Finally got my new wheels put on Got my antique plates today too no more registering the car

Andy this is what I find at Napa is this the one your talking about?
  7. I got both the Ralleys and the new ones from Summit..
  8. I had the exact same problem with my Wheel Vintiques Ralleys till I had them balanced on the car. They are not a hub centric wheel and unless you balance them on a machine that uses the lugs as the centering point they will not balance right. I fought the same issue you are a few years ago. After I had them done on the car 99% of the vibration was gone. They are going bye bye as soon as I get the new wheels out of the box and on the car
  9. Put a new battery in it last Friday and it started right up. Going to be putting the new wheels on it this Friday after I get it registered up here in AR in the morning
  10. If you listen to the radio commercials they swear Size matters
  11. Mark my wife would kill me! But that does sound like it would get it clean
  12. Or Matco guy has them on his truck and he said guys love them. I have not gotten one yet, but it is something I want too. Randy my Trucks are longer than your Buses

    Car won't start

The second terminal is for a Tachometer signal. All you need is one going to the BAT or + terminal (which is the one on the right looking at the 2 connectors) going to the Ing terminal in the fuse box and it will run.
  14. Not sure on the one year only bit, but that is what my 71 is

I have some 3/4" drive sockets from Harbor Freight and beat the heck out of them with my 1200 ft/lb Matco (IR) impact and they are holding up to daily use on trucks. I also have their 20 ton air powered bottle jack that I use just about everyday for lifting tractor and trailers with
  16. The best price I found on CC501's was Amazon
  17. Time for a 9" Dave
  18. Wait I thought you torqued them as tight as a Snap-On 1/2" impact gun goes
  19. I have 15x8 with 4" backspacing and would suggest the 4.5" backspacing. Mine fit great before I went with disc brakes on the rear, now I get rubbing on one side with 245x60x15's New wheels are being ordered next week
  20. Guys I just checked out his site and I hate to say it but he is selling Wheel Vintiques wheels and he is higher than Summit on them. He lists a 15x8 30 Series for $95 and Summit has the same part number for $77.95... Not sure what his Combo packs cost..
  21. I got polly ones from Summit Racing http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PTP-7-1712-BL/
  22. Should be ordering them in the next few weeks. It has been real mild this winter and I want to drive it!!!
  23. Try Napa Upper Hose
  24. That is great Davey!!!!
  25. Before I went to the Mallory for my Fuel injection kit I was running the Petronix 1 kit and had no problems. Now the Accel wire I put on the engine when I first got the car and tried to take off 3 months later and had most of the spark plugs ends fall off are another story. I would stay away from Accel stuff. MSD if you want performance....
