I'm doing a 200r4 conversion in my Monte. It has a stock 350 300hp but I have plans to build it up mildly. I've heard of a lot of people converting from the th350 to the 200r4 and then making the 12bolt a posi with 3:73 gear in the rear. Thats the combo I plan on running. The 200 will bolt right in place of the 350 as long as you move the crossmember back. Just thought this could be helpful if you wanted to take it that far.

Hi I'm getting ready to replace the back window to truck lid panel as well. The panel that sits under it that you had in question is fine on my car but i was wondering if any of you had any advice on how to go about replacing the filler panel on top because I'm not much of a body man but I'll be doing it myself and to be honest I am petrified to attempt this task. If any of you have any advice or know of videos of someone doing it themselves please let me know, it would be very beneficial.

That's fine but may lead me to be interested in it in a couple months just because i do not have the money for it right yet.

It was recommended that i go with 3:73 in the rear after the trans swap and Murphy I am in scottsdale. but your transformation is amazing! And would love any other advice you guys could offer. I'm really trying to do the best I can with it. I'm currently redoing the top since it had rust and prior body work under it. I would show you guys some pics of her but i cant figure out how to upload them.

I have posted before about waking up my old 350. Its a 1970 350 4 bbl 300hp all stock and never rebuilt to my knowledge with 230,000 miles but still runs very strong and reliable. Now a few of you said pull and another few said a mild cam/lifters, and intake would give it a nice wake up. I have recent plans to sometime this week put a 200-4r behind it and regear the rear to 3:73 with a posi lock. I was hoping someone would have some cam/lifter suggestions with a good intake to add as well. this car has no plans of being a strip car and will be a daily driver but i want it to be able to clean the streets of these ricers around me every now and then off of a green light haha. please let me know of what you guys think and give me your full opinion. I'm building this car on a teenager budget and just looking to do the best I can for now so a motor pull or swap is not really an option at this time.

Would you still happen to be selling the cowl hood? I really want one but don't want an $800 4 inch hood ha

I Ripped the vinyl top off of my car a few weeks ago and finally finished sanding it all down. the rear window to trunk panel needs to be replaced and I already have the new one to do it but I need some advice as to how to go about cutting the old one out and reinstalling the new one. I was hoping someone would have some pointers for me because I'm really trying to do this the right way. its kind of difficult on a teenager budget and work/ school schedule but I'm really trying ha please help me out!

Bosch has a heavy duty stock replacement. is there any difference in that compared to the Acdelco?

So is Acdelco the one I should get?

I was just asking because this motor feels great and has a lot of spunk left in it. its a 300hp 350 so I don't want to pull it until it develops a problem I was just wondering if I could wake it up some more

I'm looking to replace my water pump but I live in Arizona so I want a heavy duty/performance water pump something extremely reliable and durable out here in the desert, this car is a daily driver and does go on road trips. Any recommendations on a great water pump without going electric?

Do you have any cam specs or brands that you'd recommend?

I have a 70 monte carlo with the numbers matching 350, never rebuilt and has about 230,000 miles on it. I'm looking to get some more power out of it without ripping into it or rebuilding it. this might be a stupid question but would a supercharger make it happy without blowing it up? I was also thinking of doing a mild cam if the supercharger is to much. any recommendations?

Does anybody have some info on a good/affordable beginning level pro touring kit for a 1970 monte?
