  1. I bought a fuel line from Edelbrock, part # 81233   It says it is designed to attach to a 3/8 NPT outlet on a fuel pump. I have a stock replacement on my small block, it is not a 3/8NPT, which I kind of knew. Trying to find an adapter but I have no idea the size on it. I brought the old fitting with me around and I can get 3/8 flared plumbing parts to screw into it,  so what gives? The adapter that came with the new part does not thread in. Im trying to avoid putting a flared fitting and clamp on it.  I also dont want to buy a new fuel pump, the higher flow ones have that 3/8 NPT.

I was just hoping to get an adapter from the fuel pump to a -6AN male

  2. I’m curiosa to what everyone is using for routing the wires over their headers. Also recommended wire sets for my small block? I’m looking to corral the wires and make it neat so if anyone has pics and tell me what kit they used I’d love to see it. I’ve purchased a few over the years and not really been happy with any of them.

Do I need to make my own wires to make it neat or are off the shelf ones working for anyone?

    Thanks for any info

  3. I love wizards stuff, works great. Lucas has good one along with Barrett Jackson. They all basically work the same, some smell better than others. Adams polishes makes some great detail suppliers as well

  4. Steve, about the best way I found to do the jambs is with the 3m ez edger machine/

you probably use it already, the one that just folds the edge of the tape over on itself. It works best with a transparent sealer, colored ones always seem to go in farther than the basecoat for some reason! The foam tape seems to leave a hard edge all the time no matter how you do it. Unless you consider taping it up so you can open and close the doors while spraying, but again this is going to leave darker edges around your doors unless you just avoid going in the jambs with the candy, Ive never had much luck painting them unless all together like your doing, and I was never totally happy with the edges in the jambs.

Spraying in California seems to be next to impossible at this point, and I feel your pain on the lack of support from jobbers, the big MSO shops have squeezed them so tight that even the local finishmaster stores are shutting down and consolidating locations.

Good luck with the job, Id love to see some pics as it progresses

  5. At the time I redid my interior CarsInc were the only ones with the cloth option. I was very pleased with the quality and fit of them.

About double the cost of vinyl but It was in my car originally and I did like it.

I believe Legendary makes them now also, and Ive always heard good things about thier stuff

  6. Hey Jim! You were the one person I was thinking of because I remember talking to you in Carlisle about your setup.

I am looking to do the lock up also, and was thinking the 3.55 range. I may leave the 3.08 in it for a while just to see how it feels, and I may run out of money! Lol

  7. Looking at putting together a package for my car, probably going to be next year at this point, but who has put a 200 4/r into their car, and what company did you use?

Monster, Bow tie over drives, TCI? Any others I haven't seen yet?

Have plans In the works for a motor also, I want to do it all in one shot, and I'm kinda set on doing overdrive. Open to suggestions

  8. A friend of mine has a business where he rebuilds pinballs, he had several of these. I think he may even have just the back glass from one that was too far gone to repair.

Cool find Darren, should make a nice addition

  9. Oh man Rob, when it rains it pours huh? Sorry to hear of Pats brother passing, tell her we are thinking of her.

Also glad the tree remained outside, we are now getting the winds and rain here that you had late last night
