2024 Eastern Meet Car Class Registrations
7tonemonte replied to Rob Peters's topic in FGMCC Annual Eastern Meet
I know for one my car is in the Modified class, and is totally outclassed by some others In The class. I am not there for awards and recognition, but I do think some cars fit better into the street class than modified, even though the number of upgrades is above the street class. I’m fine no matter what, just an observation -

Steve, only difference I’m seeing is the 605 are 17mm reach and the 26 are 11mm.

Anyone have a source to tell me correct spark plugs for Vortec heads casting # 12558062. Only thing I found was they are from a 1998 truck. 350 L31 Builder recommended Autolite and I got #26 but I’m second guessing myself that I needed 605. I can’t find any definitive answers thanks a lot

Anyone going to Carlisle have use for a Holley 650? Manual choke, I Listed it locally for $300. Pulled it from my sons car and we are replacing with a Edelbrock 600. figured I’d throw it out there, I can bring it with us. Tony

Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Old members, new members, people who we haven’t seen in a year! I may actually have to get my car out and dust it off, pollen has been horrible this year

The AuVeCo clips are definitely the way to go. I had several boxes here that I sent around to people years ago, only a box left for emergency stash now. Definitely worth the price -
Yes I’m painting again. I did do the coil over thing also. I haven’t driven it a whole lot to dial them in but I will say it made a heck of a difference on the handling and stance! Hope to see you at Carlisle Jim!!

Everyone is good here Willie! Hope all is well with you also. looking forward to warmer weather and Carlisle to reconnect with everyone

What did you do to your Monte Carlo today?
7tonemonte replied to Canuck's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
Lifted the hood last weekend as the temperature rose to over 75 here. Got everything in my garage soaked, and my engine was drenched and dripping water off it from condensation. I put a fan blowing under the hood to dry it out, my new master cylinder is trashed, as I didn’t paint it before installing. I don’t know why I didn’t, now I have something to do I guess. Was going to hit a cars and coffee in the morning, but it’s snowing bad here right now, calling for about 6” 😡 -
ok I finally got it, took a while but Im able to post here on my computer again. Missed you guys

Looks very nice! I’ve thought about doing that for a cargo tray in the past, nice job
