BFH! Lolol. Sorry , had to. What do you mean? Won't go into the trans? With the rear end hanging it's too long?Â
It won't go into the transmission... I had to give up for the day. First I couldn't manually turn my motor to set it to TDC (turned fine to line up the torque converter the other day). But now that the transmission is bolted up it won't turn.. Story of my life..

WOW 🤩 good for youÂ
Yeah it was one customer service rep in particular that really helped me out. I am holding on to her contact info for future. LOL

Has anybody had issues with them? They sent me the wrong water pump pulley and made me pay the shipping to return it for exchange...
Update. Ground up ended up crediting me back the shipping charges that I payed out of pocket and apologized for the mistake. I received the correct part today.Â

I totally understand. I am doing a minor resto-mod as my engine is not the original either. Will you be doing most of the work yourself?Â

Hey JJ welcome to the board! Your plans sound great. I myself am in the middle of a frame off restoration for my 71SS. You can see my progress current on YouTube.Â

I'm installing factory reproduction valve covers on my new engine which has comp cams roller rockers. The valve covers are about 1/8" too short with a cork gasket. I do plan on installing an A/C compressor so I need to make sure that it's not too tall to where the factory brackets don't fit. Any suggestions?Â
One thing to note is that they do have oil drippers as well. Not sure if that's adding to the problem.

Hey guys I put in a new transmission pan (stock). I'm using a composite paper gasket similar to what the builder used. My question is should I put a little fluid on it or just put it in dry? It's been a while so I can't remember what works best...Â

Looking good!

Thank you gentlemen! I have more videos that I will be posting over the next few days.Â

So do you guys use a swivel to torque them down? I was wondering how to get a torque wrench in there? Maybe because mine is a 10" the bolts are more difficult to reach.

Hey guys a friend convinced me to Youtube my 71SS restoration. Although I am almost halfway there I will be adding step by step videos for all interested to see the progress of my build. Take a look and subscribe! I'm still figuring it all out so please bare with me.Â
