Hey everybody! Who makes the best weather/seal kit? I see that OPG offers a complete kit. Any feedback on theirs as well would be appreciated?

GM came very close to offering these for 1970. Here’s a GM photo of a 1970 SS454. I speculate that these were cancelled fairly late and is why the SS454 photo in the 1970 brochure is a hub cap bench seat car with SS454 emblems on it. I think the below photo was intended for the brochure but had to do something different on short notice after the wheels were cancelled. Funny enough though they had an artist colour and retouch the photo with rally wheels and 71 SS trim for the 1971 brochure.
I am actually planning on going with these wheels as well. Unfortunately I had already bought my rallys when I stumbled on this picture a while back.

Welcome aboard William!! Or do you prefer Bill? Nice find.

Since I didn't have any to start with I purchased a set from Koniks Klassics. They painted them the factory color too.

My 467 built by Mark Jones dyno'd at 605/605. My guess is 650.

I'm changing the color of my 71SS which was originally Placer Gold. I tried REALLY hard to like the color but I just can't deal with it.. My car didn't have the original engine and I had to have the bell housing on the tranny cut off and replaced due to the previous owner messing it up..

Alma products make a brand new A6 compressor. They bought the tooling from GM.

Does anybody have any experience with OPG's lower body molding? How's the quality and fit?
I am missing a piece and cannot locate one (passenger behind rear tire). The body shop is requesting the full set for my car in order to complete the body work.

So does anybody know if that is a factory color? If so I'm considering painting my Monte that color.

Welcome to the club Gary! Sweet rides you got there! I really dig the aftermarket wheels on the Monte. And of course the Camaro is amazing.. 😎

Here's the car getting loaded up and then at the body shop. The body was in outstanding condition but the body shop recommended media blasting it to make sure that there wasn't anything hidden underneath. If I had known better I would not have had it media blasted.. Reason being is that it brought me back to square one which takes 100's if not 1000's of hours to get out of.

I am missing this piece. I'm looking for one in good condition. No rust, dents or pitting please.

I appreciate the feedback gentlemen! The OPG kit does look tempting. Unfortunately it doesn't have any reviews.
Here's a link to OPG the kit. https://www.opgi.com/gaskets-seals/weatherstrip-seals/weatherstrip-kit-stage-ii/seal-kit-1971-monte-carlo-stage-ii-repro-felts-wk5022.html
