I am a Transit Bus Maintenance Supervisor. Today we will reduce service to a weekend/holiday schedule. We do not forsee the total elimination of transit service. My kids have been home since last thursday, doing online school work. Transit rider ship is down about 70%. Stay safe

car-pak but they dont sell it as a kit. you will have to order individually.

ibsaw the line on ebay. you can use any fiberoptic line if it is the same size. you can also splice them. so on ebay you will find the Ferrell, line and splice. you can use heat shrink tubing in a pinch.
trim parts have some stuff but big bucks

i see a lotnof the trimis gone and the interior painted. body might be repairable, but the fram is probably toast

Mark how bad is the crack. could it be welded. Might be cheaper than cutting and adding a bellhousing. unless you need the safety of a scattershield.

The adjuster reported a little over $5300 for repairs. The rear axles are now leaking, 8 miles after the wreck. The adjuster said if I need anything more than new seals, call him and he'd write up a supplement for whatever I need to fix it. Hagerty called and the check should be here in a few days.
I spent about a half hour straightening and putting the license plate bracket back together. I'm glad to be able to save it, since it has the original dealership sticker on it. The hinge pin had been ripped out of the collars it fits in.
I'll blast it and repaint.

i would like to know if those screws are number 8 and is this similiar to what original look like?

when you turn the engine over does the rod go in an out. if not then either it is sort of in a neutral position and stuck or you have a worn cam lobe. with s tock fuel pump it would preload the rod to ride firmly against the fuel pump lobe.

the block on the rear has no valve. just make sure its not full of junk. front calipers are notorious for seizing ether where they slide or the piston bore. like tom said replacing the 3 rubber lines would prevent future doubt.

i wouldnt put air to it or try making it shuttle. they sometimes get stuck when that happens. replace it if in doubt. bleed the brakes and test. ifnyour pro lem continues try and isolate what is working like front or rear brake. you have a lot of variables and not enough information.

Dennis my monte has the rear bumper guard on but not the front ones. i guess i need to look at the build sheet, did they come front and rear? According to the first owner i got it from he says it was a research lab car. he didnt know if it was for testing or an executive car. I too like the bumper guards and your correct it is a high option car. little by little iam getting it back together. so far original parts mostly. Maybe i can make it up your way and you can check it out first hand.

I got the trim installed and the rocker painted black. I will probably replace a couple of pieces if i find them for the right price.

maybe you can use an airline feral for the metal piece.

where is it leakimg from. they are easy to rebuild. they usually get dented from people using a pry bar to tighten the belt.

I have never done this but i would use a sharpie. them they sel some self taping screws for this purpose that will accept the proper clips. i saw the screws looking for vinyl trim clips.

will you be using a lift or doing thisnon the ground. If i rememebee correctly tou have to raise the vehicle. with the rear held up remove the arm bolt and loosen the shocks. let the rear down and the springs will come loose and you can seperate the arms.

you can try formula 88 degreaser and let it sit. if you shroud is unpainted you can try lacquer thinner first acetone second. because it drys fast tou will be ok.

4 core you will never have to up grade. now do you want an original look or aluminum

I believe many of us have this issue and have all tried something. Many have colored epoxy and sanded and polished it to decent results, i know i saw someone in the corvette group who restore steering wheels and cracks.
