  1. So Are you saying that if I do cut into the trunk pan it would expose the caged nut???
  2. hello everyone. I am in the process of replacing the body mount bushing on my 1972 Monte. I have a bolt that just keep spinning in its cage. it's the one behind the rear wheel (2nd from the rear bushing by the bumper going to the front)) my questions is if i cut a hole in the thunk pan will it expose the caged nut to where i can remove the bolt & replace the rubber body bushing? any info on this would be greatly appreciated & pics are always welcome.... thanks everyone.

  4. Good day everyone. Any body have source for body moulding clips like these? They are for the lower moulding on my 72 monte. The green clip is from the front fender rear lower moulding. The black plastic clip is from the quarter panel front moulding..any info will help. Thanks...
  5. Hello everyone hope all is well. I am looking to refinish the grille on my 72 Monte. I was wondering if anyone has done this before. I would like to keep it stock looking, so if anyone has done this and has any good tips for refinishing or pics of the finished project i would very much like to see them. thanks in advance to any advise or pics you care to post.

  13. So if I use what was originally with the column shift, via the column shift linkage. I will not need the ns switch,reverse lights seitch that's on the floor shifter assembly? The only wiring would be just the courtesy light & shifter ID lights?
  14. Hello. Another console shifter question. I'm doing a column shift to floor shift conversion, when hooking up the floor shift cable to the tranny shift lever. do I still keep the linkage hooked up for the column linkage? If so for what reason. Thanks for any input.

  19. looking at my bench seat, it looks like the buttons are at the same height as the buttons on the door panels. maybe i'm splitting hairs..but thanks for the measurements..will help when ready to put the buttons on the covers.
  20. Hello everyone. I have bucket seat question. I'm doing a bench to bucket seat conversion on my 72 monte. and I'm recovering a set of seats from a 71 Malibu. My question is, what is the distance the buttons are from the top of the seat backs? Are they placed half way from the top to the bottom? Of somebody can measure there seat button location, that would be great. See pic..any info is appreciated.
