  2. Caps and trim are plastic. The monties have the lip necessary to hold the trim on without the need for glue. The monties also have an end cap slot and lip to slide the cap on. Kinda like the end cap should have been there but wasn’t..

  3. Actually did this after work during the week, overhaul camp site. Wind blew canopy  over , left a pile of metal, ripped canvas, ect.. cross ties , er railroad ties, had rotted after 15 years. Managed to get the frame of awning back together, tore out ties with tractor, 🚜 installed new ones. Keeps the gravel from migrating out. Need concrete but $$$ .. just waiting on new cover to put on canopy.. sometime we stay up there, build a fire 🔥, a quick getaway without the trip.. enjoy cooking outdoors.. cast iron.. IMG_2587.thumb.jpeg.9163a970bf7b2a6ec5b530bc09efa585.jpeg

  4. Replaced the top and added the bottom trim last year.. and installed the end caps.. but I can’t remember where I ordered them from. Probably find that listing in , what did you do to your Monte Carlo today, post.. No glue necessary. And the  inside bottom is visible , at least part of it.. the old trim had really yellowed.. you can also use warm water to form new ones into the correct shape. It was sent too long so there is some trimming to do.. Unless you're really attached to that beat up old sticker, there are quality reproductions that have the correct VIN, date & font.

They can be found at the link below. Best bet is to call them up. I got mine from there & completely happy (My sticker was in a little better shape than yours, but still thought it would look better overall with a nice, new sticker.)

    https://ecsauto.com/collections/general-motors/products/vin-data-decal-1969-72-gm-vehicles

Also, like Aaron pointed out, tell them the date to put on the decal will be 06-71.

Thanks Joe, wasn’t aware of that site..

  6. Prefer the Delco , had good luck with the Walmart tho. 2 cars, one truck, the Monte, 2 Harley’s, 4 wheeler, zero turn mower two diesel tractors , 10 batteries  to keep track of. Have quick disconnect on Monte.. battery tenders on bikes ect.. I go for longevity, those two brands have done the best, so far… Ron…

I recently had my PSA test run not long ago ahead of my yearly visit to my urologist.  Well, my PSA passed easily with a 1.33 which is near the low end of the acceptable range.  You would think with it being that low the doctor would not feel it is necessary to do the portion of the exam that is unpleasant for not only the doctor but also for me.

I can always tell when this doctor is ready for that portion of the exam... he gets real chatty and asks... "So do your have any travel plans for this year?"

    Or , it could be . Can I buy you a drink 🥃??? 😱😳

Nothing adds stress like walking into exam room and the only thing on the table is a single rubber glove and a tube of lube.

  9. Don’t see the G 67 listed on the build sheet. Weird. Wondering if original radio in it still. That would be nice. Great car to start project with if engine runs good.. a lot of originality still there. 👍🏻Hood spear broken or incorrect.. tho

I met Dick and Joyce at my first Eastern Meet in 2021 as well. We hit it off right away. They lived about 2 hours from me (Joyce still does). Jared and I met there for Dick’s Celebration of Life after his passing. It was a car show/ cruise in that he had been involved with putting on for many years. Here’s a few pictures.
