  1. When replacing the battery found this attached to the inner fender below the battery, it appears it wore a hole in the pan near the bolt hole for the hold down.  I think it’s a battery pan support.  Does anyone know its name and a source to replace it?

  3. I’m more like Linus, I’ll just continue playing my own music.  Spoke with them today, he said “this time I really mean it” lol he promised me the car on Saturday.  I know it would have been wrong but Charlie might have felt better if he had kicked her,

I want my car back so there will be no kicking, the price is making me feel better

First, please re-post the last 2 pics. I screwed up.

Next, I understand you saw them work, but to get the correct diagrams, we need to get the correct info. There are at least 7 different possible RPO codes associated with the power seats in a CTS, and different modules involved also.   Example, codes: A45, W2E,AH8,AL2,AQ9, KA1,KB6, all play a part in getting the right diagram. Did you see them work in the donor car itself?

Such things as memory, heated, cooled (just fans), lumbar, all make a difference.

Well I was able to get to the recycle lot today and they crushed the car last week.  I learned a few things today that are different from what I was initially told for example it was not a CTS instead ATS. It wasn’t a 2014 it was a 2016, the vin number was 1G6AC1RXOGO155909 if that helps

    thanks

  5. 2 door 2014 CTS I witnessed their operation before they were pulled so I am pretty sure they work

thanks for looking for me, it’s the next project if I ever get it back from the painter lol, hum maybe he meant sept 29 2024 not 2023

  7. I’m starting with the bucket seats,  I found a leather pair from a 2014 Cadillac CTS just need to figure out how to wire them.  In the  Caddy the front seat rails go into a socket type of arrangement, I plan on using a square ’u-bolt’ and the stock post and bolt set up in the rear.  The front/back placement will take a little trial and success and it will depend on the console placement as well.

Do you have a service manual? It shows how to adjust the e-brake. I know someone on here will assist you on the proper method to adjust the e-brake . I'm just wondering if the cable is dry?

Thanks for the reply, the cable moves, I he not tried to lube the single cable but will when I get my car out of paint lock-up, lol.  I have the two rear cables and when it gets a little warmer, snowing here right now, and feel up to laying on my back to replace them, I’ll get’er done.

Joe she is coming along very nicely!!!  You know what they say, if they tell you 4 months you have to double that time. So in 8 months your car should be done!!!

I know the anticipation is a killer, been there done that!!  lol

They have held me off so long the color has changed 4 times green to black, to that Cadillac pearl white(couldn’t find a paint code) to black cherry, who knows lol

  10. If that somebody was me,🤫 what would I need to do to bypass the voltage regulator or is  that unnecessary.

I did go to a one wire alternator understanding that the gen light would glow, solved that by removing the bulb😎
