  1. Anyone on here got a base coat color code for 48 sequoia green? Thanks!
  2. I've spent the past couple evenings rebuilding door hinges, and I'm all finished except I can't seem to find any springs that say they'll work with the monte hinges, or any 68-72 a body for that matter. Anyone got a part number for one you've used? Thanks Michael
  3. Finally got out here and got these done.
  4. Oh, and the car isn't painted yet. Just a couple coats of primer. I just wanted to get all this taken care of before doing any more.
  5. Thanks for the fast replies! The first top that was bad was so rotten that the only thing holding it together was the vinyl. Everything crumbled apart when the old vinyl was removed. It was strange since that's the only rust that was on the entire car. I'm not doing the full halo top. Just the one that ends at the windshield. I still have all the trim pieces. Thanks again
  6. The next step I've got to do before paint is drilling holes in the new top for some vinyl trim screws before paint. The original top was rusted beyond repair, so I have cut a top off a 1970 non vinyl body, and welded it on. I've got all the body work finished around that area, but now I have no studs to put the trim fasteners on. I've also only got holes for the "monte carlo" emblems, but none for the "custom" emblems. I'm planning on taping the trim to the roof and drawing pencil lines down each side so I can start my holes between these lines with a center punch. I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this, and has any advice or possibly an easier method of accomplishing this. Thanks! Michael
  7. Doug, I must have made a typo on the vin. Sorry about that. These things are actually readable in person, so I copied all the info down. Here are the options, and what I'm guessing is the window sticker. I just sent in my payment and application for membership an hour or two ago. Thanks! Michael
  8. Doug, the vin number is 1h57j2l558733. Here are some pictures of the build sheets we found. There were actually 3 on this car. The completely black one was between the floor and insulation. It can actually be read if it's held up to the light. I've got almost all the other dealer paperwork and stuff too.
  9. I've got one of these. Originally triple green with buckets and no console. 350/th350. I've hot a couple build sheets around here somewhere. Here's a picture from 1998 or so when my grandpa owned the car.
