I may have some from the master chassis kit that I didn't end up using. Double check the thread size and PM me. You can have them if the size is right. (My shafts were replacement ones from Moog and used a different size if I remember correctly).
Looks like OPGI won't get them until November, but Summit has them, at twice the price. (opgi will charge a crazy amount to ship them though). Screw that...
Them look correct fine pitch bolts.

I would assume they were removed also but it doesn't look like the bushings were ever squished.
1. I have put exactly 0 miles on the car never drove it but I did move it s couple times. Total of about 20 feet
2. I am the 4th owner but the 3rd owner had it since 82 and put about 10 miles on it
so not driven a lot since 82. But before that it was driven a bunch 99315

Yes aftermarkets do have enough material. The vinyl top molding factory has the 1 inch gap between the vinyl top molding and the drip rails also down the the window and along the quarter. If you have welded studs it’s most likely factory. There are several pics of montes on here to show how the molding runs. I’d copy one for you but I don’t want to pirate any pics

Drivers upper control arm shaft has these two bolts. Passenger side does not. It doesn’t look like it ever did I’m assuming it is supposed to, to keep the arm from moving on the shaft. If I’m correct I need two bolts and two cupped washers. If someone has these “in stock “ they would like to sell please let me know
thanks Dennis

Kudos to all you guys doing the body part replacement. Something I cannot do. If it don’t bolt on I’m screwed. You all deserve a round of cold ones.

Welcome. Are you sure you want to do this to a Monte. They are worth saving. You could do it to a Ford nobody cares about them. JK. Just havin fun. Time patience and fab skills and you’ll get her done. O ya lots of money. You may want to double check the vin just in case her started to restore a valuable car. Just a thought. Good luck

Mine is L110865. So that makes it ten thousand 865 built for 71. My production date is 9/18/70. Don’t fret they only made 1919 71 SS’s and you got one. They were not all made at they same time. Sorry if yours is a 70 same deal they only made a few hundred more then in 71

I don’t know anything about metal but don’t forget about brackets for mounting the jack and the spare tire

High 100779 if US built. US started with 100000. But I think a plant started with a 2. And I think Canada started with a 5. But others will for sure correct me if I’m wrong.Just wait a few one of the group will post the absolute correct answer. What plant did it come from?

I had a customer a few years ago that brought his new Silverado back to the dealership complaining about a rattle. Turned out to be his flashlight in the console. He was a little embarrassed. I was just glad it was an easy fix!
And you got to charge him also
