Howdy! Hope all are well

i bought my 70 Monte 6 yrs ago. It ran & drove fine. One owner. 
sat outside for a few years & had a leak under rear window with boxes of car magazines in trunk. So inside rusted out pretty bad. 
anyway, I’ve been hard at work over the years & we are just out of paint & beginning reassembly. 
this is my first ever restoration so I learned as a went. Definitely would do things in a different order if I did it over.

I look forward to getting to know y’all & your Monte’s

 

 

 

[Roof rail weatherstrip CHANNELS?]

Anyone see these new or used for sale anywhere?

these are the metal channels that hold roof rail weatherstrip inside door frame. See yellow highlights on pic

[Gas tank venting questions...]

When I installed a sniper I understood the original air cleaner cannot be used with a sniper. I don’t recall why. But I did have to have vented tank. I achieved that with a venting gas cap. 
sorry if that doesn’t help

[Passenger side mirror]

I put a passenger side mirror on my 70. I really thought about it for a long time but decided I wanted the thing for safety’s sake.

I installed a Sniper on my small block

Like others said, it’s pretty easy. 
love being able to depend on it starting. 
Red plug wires were only ones I had in the shop. I replaced them later

[New radiator install]

I got my original rebuilt & painted
