    I have seen on here that the reproduction chrome is wrong on these. Got some new ones in this week. Yep they are. One of my original was broken. Don't think it matters but drivers side Anyone got one to sell? PMLK; Lyle

    Nope I got my CN air cleaner sticker and My AU rad. sticker. I am going to try to work around my original sticker as it is in really good shape but have the new just in case

    So they are both straight. Seen the picture from Parts Place and thought maybe they were selling a one size fits all. Guess I need all 4 then because one good one curves off to the side. But I think I have enough in parts drawer. THANKS

    Dave: I need VIN Documents yes or NO Exterior Color Vinyl top yes or no Interior Color Bucket Seats Any notes you want to add color change wrecked, etc. A copy of the build sheet if you have it and want to share it. I don't post it just keep copy on file If you don't have any docs. Needs to be matching numbers or at least all big block items intact and load lever system to be added. Thanks

    I am to muddy the waters some more or maybe not. After going through my build sheets here is the list I found 1970 250 Air Cleaner Decal LD Em. Decal LA 1970 307 Air Cleaner Decal CI EM. Decal AD 1970 350 Air Cleaner Decal CJ Em. Decal DO 1970 402 Air Cleaner Decal CM Em. Decal DD 1970 454 Air Cleaner Decal CN Em. Decal DQ 1971 350 Air Cleaner Decal CJ Em. Decal AP 1971 402 Air Cleaner Decal CM Em. Decal AT 1971 454 Air Cleaner Decal CN Em. Decal AU 1972 402 Air Cleaner Decal CM Em. Decal LT 1972 454 Air Cleaner Decal CN Em. Decal LX (verified with Willie's build sheet) And I asked the guy at Napa about the air filter and he said all v-8 take the same number. So??

    I thjnk is is about the filter also.. But the is nothing else on the air cleaner itself. No stampings So I assume the sticker is already alttached and this is how he knows which one goes where. All guessing. Be interesting to talk to someone who worked the assembly line to get an idea of how it worked

    It doesn't make sense to me. The build sheet is just that, The guy standing on the assembly line looks at the build sheet; air cleaner box says CN why would he grab a AU cleaner? The emission decal don't mean sqat to him and the air cleaner has NOTHING to do with emissions. They all used the same one. I don't know carbs that well but I can see AU showing up on the carb. That's my two cents worth, may or may not be worth two cents. Lyle

    I don't know who this Darren guy is but I am going with CN decal on the air cleaner and AU on the Rad. Support. He may be the guy that personally installed them on everyone of these cars , which I doubt Right or wrong that's what Iam doing
