well the monte finally left me stranded. at least i was at work. anyhow, car ran great all the way to work but, at the end of the day i hop in it and it wont come out of park. i pulled the floor console to see if the shifter was malfunctioning but it was releasing. i tried to rock it to see if it would pop out of park but no luck.its a 72 th350. tell me something that will be an easy fix.

well I'll have her in the garage on friday to replace all the front end bushings so, I'll find out then.

i was hoping that i had a posi myself with that GW5 code on the build sheet but, when i took it out to a parking lot and stomped on it only one tire left a marking.i saw it was a twelve bolt and got excited but oh well.

Actually i was thinking more like have a brushed metal type surface anywhere the stock wood grain is. nothing to dramatic. i think it would give a nice atmosphere.

I Would like to find a dash face with a brushed metal type look and then throw in some new blue or red dash lights.

thanks for the replies. If it was a confusing question i appologize. I am a rookie and its been awhile since ive worked on cars. I'm trying to recapture my youth days of working on a car in the driveway.I'm a little rusty.

On a scale of 1-10. how hard is it to upgrade to an HEI distributor? Is it just as easy to install an entire distributor or upgrade the cap, rotor ect.. ect.. ect. I'm looking into a PerTronix Flame-Thrower.
