  1. Hey guys, get a load of this mess, These are 2" primary tubes, and still they rub and catch vibration in the wheel. I couldn't get the camera to catch the other 2 tubes on the same side, banged up just as bad maybe worse. 600hp is on to something. This car did not originally come with a big block. That could be why the headers need to be banged in. Andreas, who's headers are on that awesome looking motor!
  2. Hey Bill,(502ci) do you have any problem with your hooker comp 2" rubbing up on the steering shaft? I'm almost ready to change my headers and exhaust and will not replace with the super comp. Thanks,Bill
  3. I have the hooker super 2" comp on my monte and on the drivers side they are banged up to make them fit and still they rub against the steering shaft. Good luck.
  4. Thanks Don, I've also been waiting to see your reply because of all the invaluable information you have collected over the years. I and many others respect your advice. Bill
  5. Hey guys, I agree that you do get what you pay for, however, B&M converters are excellent for street and strip for the price. Back in 1989, I bought one for $89 a 2200. Never have I had a problem with it, 143000 miles later. I turned 13 second times on a 1/4 at least 25 times plus lots of street racing and harsh driving. Probably one of the better cheap investments I ever made.
  6. I agree, the accel was a noticeable improvement on my small block 400's performance. It also allowed me to keep the air cleaner with no clearance problems. One of the few easy things that I ever did.
