  1. Mine is correct. I thought it looked small but the 350 is smaller. thank you again.
  2. Thank you, I thought I was gonna have to list it in that word association thread. That seams to be the only activity on here anymore. The picture is great.
  3. I know ive read it on here before and lookd for it but i cant find it. Was wondering what size inlet for a 350, 402, and 454 so I can identify mine on my 402. Back in the day (89) i had several parts cars and i think i put a 350 air filter assembly on my 402 because it was better condition. thank you!
  4. Ive always used 4x6, they seem to give more lows than the round smaller speakers.
  5. so most of these paints are from a paint gun?
  6. i know this is not true ive seen some nice stuff on here. where all you guys at. just wondering what youve used and how its held up.
  7. man i figured quite a few of you guys have freshened up your engine bay? guess not?
  8. I put a set of e3 plugs in my sons 00 monte due to being a gearz fan. ended up having a couple foul in one year. ac delco is extremely hard to beat imo. oriellies credited them towards some ac plugs but there not easily replaec on rear 3 plugs on the 3.4.
  9. Just wondered what kind of paint you guys used on your cars that are completed and how its held up. i have some high solid semi gloss spray paint which is the higher end spray bomb. I just dont want to do it all while it is disassebled then not last. I do not have acess to paint gun. I guess in need to to buy a paint gun and learn to use. What would be a good gun to spray sealer and paint these types of things.
  10. I hear yea. Another thing that bothers me is once you give them your stuff for core its gone. done deal. And the core is higher that the cost of the part. I like to see how stuff works to. Helps you figure out problems later.
  11. Yea, every shop used to rebuild stuff. You wouldnt believe all the rebuild kits at my bus barn. I askd my buddy who works at midas if he ever rebuilt a caliper. He said no.
  12. They prolly keep all the nasty from the road, from going up in on bottom of fender and on firewall. mine was in good condition in that area so they must work.
  13. And these do work with the metal inner fenders?
  14. I think thats them. is that the best place to get them?
  15. Thats a good deal. i paid alot more than that for mine.
  16. I just removed inner passenger fender. the plastics piece that is bolted to firewall and to back of inner fender is broken. it is plastic. what is this called and where can i get them?
  17. ck how you doin otherwise? you been workin on your monte?
  18. I have been doing alot of research on made in usa stuff lately. if i cant find what i need i will rebuild. if these companys do indeed rebuild in the usa it is very hard to find out. i bought a caliper for my pickup a while back. there was nothing on it saying where it was done. you would think they would want you to know. i bought a water pump about 6 monthes ago and it was the same way. that was it for me. if you have the time there is plenty of info on the net and im always in for buyin some new tools. prolly the clean up and paint is the worst part. the calipers you bought were definatly worth the money. if my wife found out i spent that much right now id be in the doghouse. she is in nursing school right now and im the only income.
  19. well it cost me 4.99 to rebuild one caliper. i aready have paint for calipers because i did rear ones. i rebuild calipers at work so time not an issue. i know what i got and i use wagner thermoquiet pads like i want. are those napa calipers rebuilt in us or china?
  20. NO WAY NEVER HEARD OF IT! if my wife knew about that i wouldnt get any tools. actually i have did that with a spring compressor.
  21. i use wagner thermoquiet on everything i own as far as pads.
  22. i watched a video of a technician that did it without tools but be good to have. i think can get get by with what i got but i will prolly buy next time snap on is here. i still can find seal driver specifically for calipers.
