I have been a away for a couple of years after I stored my Monte and opened a business. So I would love to come out and check out other Monte Carlos. I'll be waiting for someone to post a date and time...

I'm hearing that my msd 7al maybe too much for my rebuilt 402. Is the 7AL for racing or track vehicles...Someone mentioned that a 6al provides 6 to 8 sparks to the plugs in a minute but the 7 al provides 40 to 50 sparks a minute which will just burn the plugs up in a cruiser..in about a week in a half...If so I have a MSD 7al for sell or will trade for a 6al...

Allan it is a 7AL...I'm putting the 402 back in it...mild cam...but bigger than stock. Is this too much? Will it burn something up? (like the starter)

How can you tell if it is a 5al 6al or 7al...One came on the MONTE when I bought it...I heard that if it is a 7al I should not use for a cruiser...I putting the 402 back in it...maybe I should look at real good might tell me on it! Just wondering... my monte
