It was the vacuum line, THANK GOD! I did not want to have to replace the tranny right now.

Last night I was driving my Monte home when I noticed that it was hard shifting into second. The engine sounds like it's running in low gear, but it's not. I figured it was just being moody, so I parked it. This morning when I was driving to work it had the same exact issues, but a little worse. Now I'm concerned about driving it home because I don't want to burn out anything. The tranny fluid was low over the weekend and I added some, so I'm sure it's not that. Any info you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.

In the meantime, you can try hooking up the Holley in order to test the suspension. What do you need to fix that one?

How did my car run before you changed out the fuel pump? I know that there are several things that have been changed in addition to the new carb (fuel pump, throttle cable, fuel line, etc).
