  1. Thank you ! Sounds like it's time to buy a set of aftermarket heads with a decent compression ratio and wake my engine up ! Is it a problem to drive it as it is ? Can It break something in my engine ?
  2. Hi all, Today I did a little carb tuning. Needed to hear the engine roar When I plug my vacuum gauge, the needle is shaking, between 16 and 20 Hg/in. Ignition timing is set correctly. It's a bone stock 350, never rebuilt I guess. Just have 2,5" exhaust, new intake and 600cfm Holley. What does it means ? Valve problem ?
  3. Thanks Scott. I hope it will solve my problem.
  4. Hi all, My gas tank buildup too much pressure... When I open the cap, let's say after 15minutes of driving, i hear a big whoosh! I removed the charcoal canister a year ago, and left the line open. I noticed this problem when my engine hesitate and was close to die, and did not rev above 3krpm. It happens sometime but does not last very long. Is it possible it's just not venting properly? My cap is a non vented one. Anyone else with this problem find a solution?

  6. Hi, On my 350, I have a 600 Holley(and Holley bracket) and an Edelbrock RPM intake. My kickdown cable is too long. Is there a way to adjust cable length ? I'm missing my kick down
  7. Thank you ! Good reading. I will go with tall lower & upper ball joints
  8. My 72 was built in Van Nuys and doesn't have metal. I wonder which car have metal on the brake pedal ?
  9. Hi all, Water is leaking from my windshield. I'd like to fix that but I'm not sure what's the best way to do it. I don't know how to properly remove the chrome trim outside... Any advice is welcome ! Thanks
  10. Thanks Daryl ! Yes tubular arms looks cool but unfortunately cost a lot more than ball joints Tall ball joints seems to be the best bang for the buck, I 'll start with tall ball joints & poly bushings on my stock arms.
  11. Just a little update 295 in the back and 255 in the front. I had to cut rear fender lip about 1 inch each side. It still rubs a little on hard corners.
  12. Anyone can help me figure out what's the best setup to improve the front suspension of my 72 ? Should I go tall upper & lower ball joint or just tall lower ball joint ? Does tall spindles have the same positive effect ? Thanks for the help !
  13. I have no idea, I think I should check before doing anything. Everything is bone stock on my Monte... thanks for the advice
  14. I am not sure, but according to him, it should be mounted on the rim - Thread is here.
  15. According to another member, here is the clearance with 275/60/15 and 4" backspace fender clearance: I guess 295x50 will fit perfect !
  16. Hi, I just received my rims. I need a little help with tire combinaison. I want to put 295x50 in the back, but I'm not sure it will fit because of the 4" backspace. What's your recommendation ? I'm ok to grind the wheel well if needed.
  17. Yes, weights on the outside is weird...
  18. Thank you Mike, I hope it will fit without rolling the fender ! Anyway, I ordered 4 15x8 rims. If 295's doesn't fit, I will downsize a bit.
  19. I will go with 255 in the front and 295 in the back
  20. Thanks you Mitchell, you're right, it's 15x8. I just ordered 4 15X8 Soft 8, can't wait !!!
  21. In fact I really like the way it looks on Bram's car. I am not sure if it's a 8" or 10" rims in the rear.... Any idea ?
  22. Do you mean grinding wheel wells ?
  23. Hi, I really like the look of these black Cragar Soft 8 on our Monte. Does anyone know if 15x10 in the rear fit without cutting wheel wells ? The famous Tokyo Drift Monte seems to be 15x8 in front and 15x10 in the rear, but I'am not sure http://www.firstgenerationmontecarlo.com...9137&page=1 Any recommendation would be appreciated
  24. I just bought a 3 rows copper radiator from Rockauto a new thermostat (190°) and a radiator cap... "Everything is gonna be allright"
