I meant to add something else in but my wife was rushing me...

I owe you guys lol
UPDATE~ OH SUCH A GREAT UPDATE!
I found the devilish culprit! I said I checked the distributor hot wire... well I did but I didn't check the wire it was tapped into... Turns out the wire it was on was breaking down... worthless 16ga wires lol anyways. I wired my distributor to a 12ga wire in the ignition. so now I have 14/12ga wires that should not be breaking down.
OH HAPPY DAY!

I found this a minute ago lol
update. On a whim I went nuts and hunted down a non-existant TCS solenoid... not it apparently lol
but the car is now doing this nutty rpm bouncing in park... it's progressing... I feel it's infected with a car disease! I've called several doctors and they won't prescribe any pain killers for me now lol
I checked filters and lines all check out great... unfortunately at this point... I wish it was just that lol I'm going to look at a carb rebuild kit for that edelbrock but until then, anymore ideas would be great
nothing, not even links are working for me it seems...
Just changed the pickup coil... still doing it. ok...
Things I've changed/checked:
Fuel filter, fuel pump, carb- checked
coil, pickup coil, distributor cap, rotor, ignition module- changed
also. at this point I have checked and changed about everything in the distributor except the pickup coil.... I've got it out now and going to be changing that today too

Video if it works... This is what it's doing. the start of the video is in my rocky driveway... and I talk to myself a bit lol
Also, when I say it died I mean the engine was no longer running but all the power was still on IE power steering and all that great stuff... which is weird cause if my car dies, normally all that cuts off and I've got to put it in park to start it again but it started back up on it's own if I hold the gas... not the tach either, used a timing light which reads rpm's and it read the same thing from the plugs... I found this out cause it started to do it in park now lol
I'm going to grab a new... kinda new... ignition module today out of a distributor from work. would be pretty easy to replace. I'll probably change out the wiring too. and clean the new connections.
No prior changes to all of this, wait no, ok I put on an electric fuel pump 2 weeks ago...
and now I've put on because I thought it was the coil going bad...
