When I got the car there was not a belt on the compressor. Part 1 will turn by hand but part 2 will not, what does this mean? Can I fix this without buying a whole new compressor???

Would this be good to use in my stock 350/350 4bbl with stock gears?

What kind of cam should I get??? I don't want anything too mild but I want something bigger than stock that will add horse power!! I have a set of roller lifters, and if I use them do I have to have a roller cam, and roller rockers or no?
Im new in the whole cam thing! I know how they work and what they do but not sure about the measurement or anything like that!

the lower body trim and wheel well moldings are anodized alum, don't use anything abrasive on them, you'll damage the finish on them
... like what?
-
I think theres at least a little on every thing thats chrome, and its not major like sprayed all over it.
-
I got some paint on my chrome in some places, and Im getting it painted and I was wondering if there was a way to take that paint off of it and not ruin the chrome and make it look like new again?
-
Hahaha I thought it was because the site was based out of IL and that there is a time difference between IL and NC

the best quadrajet adjustment I ever made was throwing it away and getting a Holley!
-
well before I got the car the ac was already locked up and there was a box of tranny fluid in and box with a 15545 belt so that must be what it was going to be used for!
-
What kind of belt do I get to go around the ac pump? I have a 72 with a 350. Also If I get a new ac pump before I use it what should I check?? the car has sat with out ac for a while!

I took the plate that was behind it off then pushed the rod back, put a Popsicle stick on it slid the plate over it with the Popsicle stick coming out of the hole the pushed the rod back then put the pump in it was very easy!
-
When replacing the fuel pump i ran into a problem, the pump wont sit right because the push rod will not go back! How can i get this to go back???
This is a picture or the rod
-
Well duh that's simple... But where would a leak like that be?
-
Either my monte sucks gas, or my fuel guage isn't working I drove for about 20 miles and was down to a 1/4 of a tank from full what can I do to change this???
-
goodness... thats cold and my friend has a 65 mustang with a 302 who wants to race me when i get the MC done!!
-
did you hook this line back up???
it comes for the brake booster and hooks in to the original quadrajet on the base plate and there is no where to hook it up on any other carb...
you have to hook it up on the intake in a vacuum port!
I had this same problem i took my old jet off and replaced it with a holley and tried to dive it and the brakes were HARD.... Hope this helps!
-
Okay I'll try that... Where is the fast idle screw on the passenger side?? Also I researched and it said to turn on the motor, let it warm up, turn it off, open the throttle half way, and hold the choke plate closed, then close the throttle and then let go of the choke plate and star it and if the motor stalls then do it again!
-
No it's a manual choke... That carb was recently rebuilt so it shouldnt be sticky... But I'm sure it probably out of time
-
After my mc warms up it starts to idle REALLLY fast.... I've had the mixture screws adjusted and made the return spring more loose and it still idles high it's a holly 600
-
I had only 3 of the blots out I thought all 4 were out!! But I just got done replacing it! Thanks
