Can someone tell me how big the gap should be from the hood to the fender extensions?? And between the grille and hood??

Does the lower fender extension have any adjustment in or out at the grille. I'm reinstalling my grille and the extension seems to be pushed in at tne bottom. I have the headlight bezel out but can't see much. Any help would be great, thanks

Yes Bruce, mine is all painted black. I'm going to detail the grille, horns and latch. The prior owners liked black paint and didn't do that nice of a job. Is yours painted silver or chrome?

Well after 5 hours and some pb blaster and a whole lot of patience I got those 4 little stinkers off. Of course the two on the hinge side both stripped out. What a pain in the back.... Now to get all the black paint off and get it and the master cylinder rebuilt and re-plated

The parts place shows the 90 degree bent rubber hose for the LS6 Chevelle. They have one on ebay for about 130.00. The Parts Place does have the 2" connector hose.

Good news, I found the part number for the pipe in the Chevrolet parts catalog. The number is 330523 and I found one on Ebay. The funny thing is that the book also shows a rubber hose. If anyone else is looking for the same tube...

I'm trying to remove my brake booster to get it rebuilt and refinished. I got the master cylinder off no problem but the four nuts that hold the booster on, not so much. I have sprayed it with some wd40 a few times but the nuts seem to want to strip. Does anyone have any hints?

Dennis, I agree about the bracket over the top. I would have rather had the other because the clearance is tight. The Parts Place shows a 1st design for 1970 and 2nd design for 1971-1972. I wonder if they used the 2nd design on some 1970 Montes...
