while the car is running and in park there is this rattle that is driving me crazy, come to find out it is the linkage with a spring on the trans shift gear selector on the auto matic transmission i srpayed it with lubricating oil all good now

i believe that the strap under the seat is for the seat belt warning light,that goes on if the seat belts are are fastened , i took mine out in the early 80s because as i would start the car it was pretty annoying ,but still have it ,  my 72 roger
